Well, this is the first chance I´ve had to get to a computer while I´ve been in Spain!
The theme of our trip has been, let´s just say, "Lost In Spain"!
We´ve consistently gotten lost everywhere we´ve gone, but, not so lost that we could never find our way to where we were going!
One unfortunate thing did happen, however, (aside from the screaming baby on the flight from Philadelphia to Madrid, and I´m talking, the ENTIRE way!) our car got broken into while we were at a Flamenco performance (which was absolutely amazing!) and my brand spankin´ new Doc Marten shoes got stolen, along with Jen´s wool jacket, and our souvenirs that we had just bought at the Alhambra in Granada. So, including the shoes and jacket, it was a total of just over $250 worth of stuff that had been stolen. Well, we figure, someone must need a jacket and shoes more than we do. As for the coasters, picture frames, jewelry boxes, and card holder, well, probably not. LOL =)
Anyways, we were in Mojacar for a few days and now are in Calpe, which is in the Alicante region. The resort we´re staying at is gorgeous. The bungalow is a bit small, but, that´s okay. The place in Mojacar was really nice and it was a really cute, quaint town. It has been really windy this entire time and we´re driving around in a little itty bitty rental car and we can hear the wind howling as we drive.
I think this week in Calpe will be nice and relaxing, with a few day trips here and there. Then, it´s up to Madrid for one night and back home!
Hope everyone is well back home! (That is, of course, for whoever actually reads this! Emmanuel, Elijah....) hahahahah =)
